Disney (1947) Fun and Fancy Free - Original Vintage Production Art
Fun and Fancy Free (1947) is a feature-length animated film produced by Walt Disney and released on September 27, 1947. The film is one of Disney’s post-war “package films,” created by combining two shorter animated features into a single presentation: Bongo and Mickey and the Beanstalk.
Beyond its whimsical storytelling, the film holds a unique and important place in Disney history. It marks the final time that Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy appeared together in a single film during Walt Disney’s lifetime. Additionally, Mickey and the Beanstalk represents the last occasion in which Walt Disney himself provided the voice of Mickey Mouse. Due to increasing studio demands and time constraints, the role was subsequently passed to longtime Disney sound effects artist Jimmy MacDonald.
All pieces featured here are original vintage production cels from the 1947 Disney film Fun and Fancy Free. There are no reproductions, limited editions, or sericels. Every artwork in this collection is 100% authentic studio-produced material.
